This year's 2024 winter break has been an unforgettable experience for me. I had the chance to visit the amazing city of Chongqing. Which has opened my eyes to how amazing China has come with its amazing metropolitan city and advanced technology that has helped the people with their daily lives. Trying Sichuan food for the first time also makes me more in love with Chinese food. I am excited for the new semester, and my goal is to finish this semester with a good GPA :)

今年寒假，我在重庆开启了一段难忘的旅程。在这座城市，我领略到了一个大都市的繁华喧闹以及便利人们日常生活的先进技术。我也是在这里第一次尝试了川菜，这也让我更加喜爱中餐。即将的到来的新学期领我兴奋不已，我也期待着在学期末能够获得不错的成绩：）

雷锋纪念馆之行

在寒假，我们社会实践团一行来到了雷锋纪念馆。并访问了红色纪念馆从业者代表——雷锋邮局张女士。“雷锋邮局并不只是一个邮寄的地方，它更象征着一种精神的传递。人们从这里寄出的不仅是明信片，还有承载着雷锋精神的情感和力量。”对张女士来说，工作不只是一份职责，更是一种信仰。她将雷锋的故事视为一种光辉的传统，正如雷锋所说：“人的生命是有限的，可是为人民服务是无限的。”

在雷锋纪念馆工作多年，张女士亲眼见证了无数游客被雷锋精神所触动，甚至改变了人生观。年轻的一代在她的引导下开始理解什么是奉献、什么是善良；而更多的来客则在雷锋书屋静心阅读后，被那简朴而深刻的故事深深打动，愿意将这份力量传递给更多的人。

另外，我们还对不同年龄层的游客、纪念馆工作人员及当地居民展开探访，力求全面了解各方对红色文化传承与发展的观点，深入剖析大家对雷锋精神的认知，并围绕纪念设施的科技运用、教育意义、影响力等问题展开调查。

During the winter break, our social practice group visited the LEI Feng Memorial Hall. The most impressive part was the interview session with Ms. ZHANG, a representative from the LEI Feng Post Office. "The LEI Feng Post Office is not just a place for mailing, it symbolizes the transmission of a spirit. People send out not only postcards from here but also emotions and strength carrying LEI Feng's spirit," she said. For Ms. ZHANG, her work is not just a duty but also a belief. She views LEI Feng's story as a glorious tradition, just as LEI Feng said, "Life is limited, but serving the people is limitless."

Having worked at the LEI Feng Memorial Hall for many years, Ms. ZHANG has witnessed numerous visitors being moved by LEI Feng's spirit, even changing many people's outlook on life. Under her guidance, the younger generation began to understand the meaning of dedication and kindness. Many visitors, after reading quietly in the LEI Feng Library, were deeply touched by the simple yet profound stories and were willing to pass on this power to more people.

In addition, we also sought to fully understand the views of various age groups, memorial hall staff, and local residents on the inheritance and development of red culture. We conducted in-depth analyses of everyone's understanding of the LEI Feng spirit and raised detailed questions about the use of technology in memorial facilities, educational significance, and influence.
