Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad博士为浙江大学国际联合商学院助理教授。他拥有Jawaharlal Nehru大学科学政策研究中心的硕士和博士学位，曾为浙江大学博士后研究员。他是《Informal Sector Innovations: Insights from Global South》一书的联合编辑（Routledge，Taylor and Francis，2015）。《牛津发展研究》、《国际规划与发展评论》、《当代科学》、《农村研究杂志》、《科学技术与社会》等期刊皆发表了他的相关论文。最近，他为《科学技术与社会》（Science Technology and Society，Sage Journal）合编了一期特刊，题为“Rethinking Innovation and Development Discourses in the Light of COVID-19”。本期特刊收录了包括诺贝尔奖得主在内的创新与发展领域著名学者的相关成就。他于2022年9月23日为联合国大会的科学峰会主持了题为“替代创新和发展模式：来自中国、印度和巴基斯坦的见解”的特别会议。
