The Sino-Singapore Joint Research Base aims to fully combine the advantages of Zhejiang University and the National University of Singapore, and create a high-end fintech and consulting platform integrating government, industry, university and research by bringing together fintech talents from worldwide academia, industries, government departments, and international organizations. The research base will make full use of the disciplinary advantages of Zhejiang University and National University of Singapore in the fields of computer science, finance, economics, statistics, law and mathematics, track the frontier areas of global fintech and risk management, and employ the Internet, big data, cloud computing, AI, machine learning, blockchain and other cutting-edge technologies to conduct scientific research, product development and financial innovation in next-generation financial infrastructure planning, fintech regulation, smart contracts, digital currency, etc. It will also provide financial institutions, economic entities and regulators with more accurate investment consulting and risk management services.
