LEAP Global Summer Program
Overview
This intensive summer school provides a comprehensive and interdisciplinary exploration of China's role in global sustainable development. The program uniquely bridges China's profound cultural heritage with its contemporary innovations in sustainability. Through a blend of expert lectures, hands-on field visits, cultural workshops, and student-led forums, participants will gain deep insights into the theoretical frameworks, policy implementations, and grassroots practices shaping China's sustainable future.
- Language Learning
The program includes Mandarin language classes tailored to all proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. These classes focus on building practical language skills to enhance participants' ability to communicate in real-life situations.
- Exchange of Culture
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a dynamic exchange of cultures, gaining insight into Chinese traditions, customs, and modern-day societal changes. Cultural activities, including Chinese arts, cuisine, and traditional ceremonies, will be integrated into the program to enhance cultural understanding.
- Academic Exploration
In addition to language learning, the program features lectures on Chinese culture, society, and economic development, offering an academic perspective on the country’s rapid transformation. These lectures aim to provide participants with a well-rounded view of China’s past, present, and future.
- Practical Experience
Students will have the chance to visit local businesses, corporate offices, and significant cultural sites, providing real-world context to their academic learning. Field trips and corporate visits will allow students to observe China’s development firsthand and understand its global impact.

· Registration Fee: waived
· Tuition Fee: 6000 RMB
Requirements
· All applicants are required to complete an online application.
· Applicants must be fully proficient in English and be able to engage in an academic setting. Language requirements are self-assessed. TOEFL/IELTS results are not required.
· Applicants must have completed one full academic year before attending the summer school. Restricted admission to students in their last year of undergraduate or graduate study when applying.
