S&T Cooperation Base
The "Zhejiang International Science and Technology Collaboration Center for FinTech and Big Data Analysis", established under Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS), leverages the advantages of an international collaborative education model. Adhering to the integrated development framework of "education, research, talent cultivation, industry, and urban development," the Center focuses on interdisciplinary fields such as financial technology and big data analytics. It collaborates with universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Spain, and other countries to introduce and aggregate global innovation resources, facilitating the convergence of cutting-edge technological achievements and high-end talent. This fosters an open innovation ecosystem with global competitiveness. The Center encompasses dozens of research platforms, including 3 provincial/ministerial-level platforms and 1 university-industry collaboration center. Aligned with national development priorities, it has led over 80 major projects, including the National Key R&D Program projects, National Natural Science Foundation projects, People’s Bank of China projects, and Ant Group projects. To advance global collaboration, the Center actively recruits overseas high-caliber talent and has contributed to international policy discourse, authoring 3 policy briefs for the G20 Think Tank Summit. Embracing an open strategy, it has built a worldwide government-industry-academia-research collaboration network, establishing partnerships with over 30 overseas institutions across five continents.
