Inauguration of the center
On June 9, 2022, Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS) and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) signed a memorandum of cooperation online and unveiled the ZIBS-CISI International Financial Talents Center jointly built by the two sides. Ben Shenglin, Dean of ZIBS, and Simon Culhane, Chief Executive Officer of CISI signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides. It marks the establishment of a stable and sustainable partnership between ZIBS and CISI for future development.
The ZIBS-CISI International Financial Talents Center, which was jointly established by the two sides, was inaugurated by Dean Ben Shenglin and Vice Dean Qu Haidong at the signing ceremony. Later, the two sides will organize CISI related education and training activities, conferences, and exchanges among test takers and members in the center. With the focus on wealth management and green finance, the future cooperation between ZIBS and CISI will lie in such aspects as academic research, industry exchanges, curriculum cooperation and talent training, with a view to jointly cultivating international financial professionals that meet the needs of the new era.
