Since 2021, ZIBS has been using the brand "Hi Academy", which was a platform jointly established by ZIBS and the Haining Government, to hold training programs in the forms of themed training and short-term lecturer dispatch, with nearly a thousand past participants. Starting from November 2022, in response to the overall development needs of Haining, we collaborated with Haining government to launch a series of more than 10 premium programs. The different branches of government participating in these programs have experienced regionally characterized yet internationalized executive education at "Hi Academy". By the same token, the training programs of Hi Academy also serve the training needs of CPC and Government official cadres nationwide.
Since 2021, ZIBS has jointly established Qianjiang Business School with Shangcheng District of Hangzhou, offering customized training programs for elite business talents. The school is committed to cultivating business elites with international perspectives and strategic thinking, with nearly 100 past participants. The goal is to further improve the quality and level of business talent development in Shangcheng District, and accelerate the efforts of growing elite business talents in the area.
In 2021, the Zhejiang Chinese Overseas Friendship Association's Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Youth Exchange Base was officially launched at ZIBS with the support of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China Provincial Committee and the Zhejiang Chinese Overseas Friendship Association. Over the past three years, ZIBS has held three consecutive Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan National Conditions Seminars, and has taken this customized training program as an important initiative for ZIBS to serve the youth of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan compatriots, and overseas Chinese nationals to integrate into the development of the motherland.
In November 2022, China announced the implementation of the “ASEAN-China Digital Talent Training Plan and train 1000 digital talents for ASEAN countries in the next three years. To fulfill the mission, the Joint CAREC-PRC Digital Economy Workshop on Empowering CAREC Digital Future & 2nd ASEAN-China Digital Economy Workshop (CCDEW&2nd ACDEW) was held from May 20th, 2024 to June 1st, 2024. This workshop was jointly organized by Zhejiang University, the Asian Development Bank, and the Central Asia Institute for Regional Economic Cooperation, and jointed hosted by Zhejiang (Zhejiang University) Center for International Studies on Development and Governance and Zhejiang International Business School.
