At the recently concluded “Sustainable Development Industry Academia Research Forum & ZIBS Global Corporate Consulting Project Summary Conference,” ZIBS joined hands with top international and domestic institutions and enterprises, officially launched the “GCCP Initiative” and announced the establishment of the “GCCP Committee.”
Based on the shared vision and objectives outlined at the Conference, the GCCP Committee will adopt the model of “transnational academic teams + Chinese industry scenarios” and uphold the vision of “building bridges with knowledge, laying foundations through action.” Through resource integration and open collaboration, the committee aims to drive a transformation in business education—from theoretical output to practical empowerment.
The GCCP Initiative puts forward 4 key action pillars:
Accelerate Collaborative Innovation: establish global research consortia to tackle pressing sustainability challenges through cross-border academic and industry partnerships.
Build Open Ecosystems: develop shared digital repositories of sustainability cases, tools and best practices accessible to all partner institutions.
Cultivate Responsible Leadership: redesign curricula to embed sustainability across all business disciplines, developing future leaders who balance profit with purpose.
Drive Meaningful Implementation: create platforms for knowledge exchange and practical application of sustainable business solutions worldwide.
As a major outcome of the Conference, the launch of the GCCP Global Initiative marks the evolution of the project from a single enterprise consulting collaboration to a global industry-academia-research ecosystem platform. Looking ahead, GCCP will continue to deepen integration across research, industry, and innovation, cultivate the next generation of global business leaders, and foster cross-border partnerships on a global scale.
On one hand, the initiative aims to build an efficient matching mechanism between academic research and real-world enterprise needs, fostering the development of impactful and applicable business solutions. On the other, it will continue to offer international platforms for students to enhance their business strategic thinking, interdisciplinary scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and practical business competencies.
