Engagement & Partnership:ZIBS Latin America Delegation

From April 4th to April 12th, ZIBS delegation successfully completed a 9-day educational exchange and international recruitment tour in Latin America. Spanning three cities across Brazil and Peru, this visit focused on international student recruitment while conducting academic exchanges, talent selection, and building cooperation networks in the LATAM regions, further advancing the school's educational cooperation layout in this strategic region.


Brazil: Expanding Recruitment Networks & Establish South-South Educational Cooperation

Sergio Rial, a board member of the ZIBS International Advisory Board (IAB), joined the ZIBS delegation in Brazil where he highlighted ZIBS Initiatives in “IAB Scholarship”and global business leaders that generated tremenendous impact in the region for engagement and admissions.

During this period, the delegation visited ZHANG Xiaohong, President of the Brazilian Jinhua Fellowship Association and Chairman of Brazilian Jinmiao Trading Company, to discuss expanding recruitment channels and educating international business professionals from LATAM regions.

 


The delegation continued to Rio de Janeiro, discussing industry talent needs and targeted training programs with the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) to provide industry orientation for international recruitment efforts. During meetings with presidents WANG Junxiao and ZHANG Xiaochun from the Brazilian Peaceful Reunification Promotion Association, the delegation explored on potential collaborations, such as summer camps and non-degree language courses.

At the BMI Global Recruitment Fair in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the team marketed ZIBS programs for LATAM regions and specialized business courses, drawing great attention from prestigious local schools and students. The delegation also engaged in in-depth exchanges with the the Firjan-SENAI Innovation Institute, reaching preliminary cooperation intentions on joint research projects and exchanges of China-Brazil business practices. 

 


Peru: Precise Recruitment and Deepening Cooperation Opportunities across Industry-Academia-Research

The delegation arrived in Lima, the capital of Peru, visiting the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Peru for in-depth discussions with Chairman LOU Bingqiang and chamber representatives. The focus was on training overseas Zhejiang entrepreneurs and innovative models that integrate business school education with practice.

At PUCP Centrum Business School, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions regarding iMBA and ZIBS master programs recruitment. Both parties reached consensus on establishing student exchanges, credit recognition, and jointly developing case-studies, paving new avenues for Sino-Peruvian educational cooperation and talent development.

 


This Latin American tour represents a significant initiative in ZIBS global engagement and international admissions, aimed at breaking the traditional international recruitment pattern centered on Europe and Asia by actively developing emerging markets in Latin America. Through differentiated recruitment strategies and precise market positioning, ZIBS is committed to building a diverse international student ecosystem and educating international business elites who truly understand the national contexts of Global South countries and possess cross-cultural leadership capabilities.

In the future, ZIBS will further strengthen cooperation with universities and institutions in emerging markets countries, establish a more comprehensive international recruitment network, provide more opportunities for outstanding students from around the world, especially developing countries, to access high-quality business education, while contributing to educational, cultural, and economic cooperation between China and Latin American countries.
