Over the last four weeks including 1 week in China, the 14 teams from 10 universities, 7 countries (many more countries represented in terms of team members), they focused on One Theme: sustainability from different perspectives. They shared their insights, experiences and expertise from private sectors to public institutions, from industry to investments, from global best practice to local wisdoms, from policies to products. I am so proud of your contributions and inspired by your passion, which you all would agree, has been contagious.
We may be approaching the end of GCCP 2025 event now, but it is the beginning of a new journey for GCCP initiative. Based on very positive feedbacks and suggestions, to sustain our effort going forward and to provide opportunities for future generations of leaders to join this exciting journey of sustainability, which is a long-term and collective goal, we would like to institutionalize the organization of GCCP initiative by establishing a GCCP Committee and promote GCCP values by pronouncing a set of principles.
ZIBS, together our partners including universities, corporations, NGO and multilateral institutions, will become members of the Committee, with ZIBS acting as its secretariat. The Committee will be inclusive and open to applicants who would like to contribute to the joint goals we have set for GCCP.
