According to the agreement between our institute and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), our institute will select outstanding postgraduate students to participate in relevant exchange programs during the autumn semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. The specific details are as follows:
I. Information of the 2025 Summer Program
Target Participants: Postgraduate students currently enrolled in ZIBS (excluding the current graduating class)
Program Dates: The autumn semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, tentatively from September 1, 2025, to December 19, 2025
Program Location: Daejeon Metropolitan City, South Korea
Program Content: Please refer to the Factsheet 2025-26 KAIST Exchange Sheet for details.
Quota: 2 students.
Program Fees: The course fees are waived; participants need to cover their own accommodation, meals, air tickets and other expenses outside of the courses.
Students who successfully complete the program and achieve passing grades in the courses (a course transcript is required) can convert the corresponding course credits according to the requirements of each program (subject to the specific requirements of each program).
II. Application Method
Application Materials
1）The Application Form for External Exchanges of the International Business School, Zhejiang University (Annex); English personal resume; English proficiency certification materials (within the validity period); English personal academic transcript should be compiled into one PDF file in order. The file name should be: Applicant's Student ID + Name + Major.
2) A 3-minute English video (self-introduction and reasons for applying for the exchange program
Please send the above documents together to luyang@intl.zju.edu.cn. The subject of the email should be named in the following format: [KAIST Exchange] Applicant's Student ID + Name + Major.
Application Requirements:
1) 1） Outstanding comprehensive qualities and excellent academic performance in the major courses.
2) Good English proficiency. In principle, applicants are required to submit English proficiency certificates obtained within the past two years: TOEFL IBT 80, IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 720, or B2 level, or equivalent English test scores.
3) Other application requirements shall refer to the specific requirements of KAIST.
III. ZIBS Application Deadline: March 25, 2025 (23:59)
Applications submitted after the deadline will be regarded as invalid and will no longer be accepted.
The recommended list will be announced on the official website of the institute. Please pay close attention.
Special Reminder: Please handle relevant application materials such as the English academic transcript and language proficiency certificate in a timely manner. Our institute will recommend candidates based on their merits, and the final result is subject to the admission decision of the counterpart institution.
