The Fintech Security International Research Center is a collaborative research platform across multiple schools and multiple disciplines established on the International Campus of Zhejiang University. It is an interdisciplinary research platform that focuses on high-level talents at home and abroad, and is mainly run by universities in China regarding the world's top academic research fields such as fintech, network security, computational intelligence, blockchain, and big data. The research center works with the School of Cyber Science and Technology of Zhejiang University, ZIBS, Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI), and other scientific forces to carry out research. REN Kui, Dean of the School of Cyber Science and Technology of Zhejiang University, BEN Shenglin, Dean of the ZIBS, and LI Hanying, Deputy Dean of Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute, jointly serve as members of the Joint Management Committee, the highest authority of the research center, with Professor WEN Wu of ZIBS as its executive deputy director. The research center aims to become a national-level fintech network security university-based think tank, a first-class fintech security talent training base, and a world's leading fintech security research platform to promote talent training and serve national strategies with interdisciplinary research across China and beyond, enhance the international influence of Zhejiang University in the new interdisciplinary fields, and serve the cooperation and exchanges in interdisciplinary fields between Zhejiang University and other world's top universities.
