YAN Shuo

Associate Professor




Yan Shuo is currently an Associate Professor and a Doctoral Supervisor at the Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS). She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Bocconi University in Italy. She is a high-level talent in Shenzhen and an evaluation expert for the Policy Research Office of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee. Her main research interests lie in financial technology and behavioral finance, with a particular focus on how modern social media platforms (such as Weibo, LinkedIn, Twitter, Glassdoor, Reddit, Little Red Book etc.) discover, shape, and influence human behavior and capital markets. Her research has been published in top business journals, including Management Science (UTD24), Production and Operations Management (UTD24), and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (FT50, AGJ4*), and she has led several research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation. In teaching, Yan Shuo has won the Special Prize and First Prize in the University-level Young Teacher Teaching Competitions multiple times, and she has also led two provincial-level teaching quality and teaching reform projects.
