The Juanhu Lake in summer was a wonderful sight of blue ripples. The ZIBS graduates were waving goodbye to each other there—though reluctantly. On the afternoon of July 2, the "Chasing Dreams" ZIBS Graduates Farewell Party 2022 was held in Hall 1, Qiushi Academy, International Campus of Zhejiang University. Representatives of the graduates from the iMBA, iMF and MCS programs spent an unforgettable afternoon together. ZIBS Dean BEN Shenglin, Vice Dean QU Haidong, and representatives of the teachers working in all the departments attended.
The event was moderated by SHEN Li, Assistant to the Dean of ZIBS. "The sea, vast and not complacent, can accommodate thousands of rivers. Learning is boundless between heaven and earth." As the familiar anthem of Zhejiang University sounded again, the event kicked off amid a chorus.
Graduate Spotlight
ZIBS Vice Dean Qu Haidong read out the list of graduates. Wearing confident smiles, 45 representatives of the graduates from the iMBA, iMF and MCS programs appeared on the stage and took a group photo with Dean BEN Shenglin. The camera captured this moment of glory and accomplishment.
Subsequently, certificates of honor were awarded to students who finished their studies with an outstanding graduation thesis. Dean BEN Shenglin, Vice Dean QU Haidong and faculty representatives presented the certificates to 13 students, and encouraged them to continue the spirit of seeking truth and innovation in their future studies and work and push back their limits.
Establishment of ZIBS Alumni Association
Alumni resources are the most valuable asset of ZIBS. At the event, ZIBS Alumni Association was officially established. The school leaders, faculty representatives and alumni representatives jointly inaugurated the association. On behalf of the association's secretariat, JIANG Ripeng, a faculty member, introduced the organizational structure, the functions and the members of the first Council of the association. Overseas alumni sent a video of congratulation on the establishment of the association. ZIBS Alumni Association will hopefully bring together alumni from all over the world and create the ZIBS ecosystem.
It is also hoped that the association will unite ZIBS alumni, strengthen the ties between the alumni and the school, foster friendship among the alumni, give full play to its role as a bridge, and contribute to the development of the alma mater.
Graduation Message
During the event, the dean, teachers, relatives and friends, and graduates said graduation blessings in their own ways.
Hard work and merit will not be in vain; they will be rewarded. No matter what difficulties we encounter in our studies and career, we must face them courageously. As President Xi Jinping once said, we hope every ZIBS graduate can find their own "root" and "glow" in their beloved area of study, fulfill their dreams, and contribute to social development.
Knowledge leads to advancements; virtue secures a firm foothold. I hope that after graduation from ZIBS, you will adopt a consistent attitude toward interpersonal relations, work, and studies, be loyal to your faith, dedicate yourself to your career, and enrich yourselves and society with learning. You are young people with knowledge, skills and good conscience. Wherever you go, take on your responsibility for your family, the society and the state. Remember to repay society and the people; remember to make a contribution to national prosperity and social progress.

E, Ecosystem. After graduation from ZIBS, you will set foot in various industries. Keep in mind that you will always be a partner of the ZIBS ecosystem. I hope you will continuously work together to build the ZIBS ecosystem.
L, Learning. As is often said in our world today, constant change is the biggest new normal. I hope you will persist in lifelong learning, and avoid path dependence and cognitive inertia.
I, Innovation for Inclusiveness. I hope you will do something for "those at the bottom of the pyramid" in the process of innovating and shine in a community of shared destiny.
T, Truth. The tradition of seeking truth is the underlying culture of Zhejiang University. I hope you will pass on this spirit.
E, Elegance. Life is a journey into the unknown. Please remember to add an element of elegance to your life and work, and keep moving forward in a leisurely, confident, and optimistic way.

The unprecedented great changes taking place in this century are more or less throwing our world into a state of chaos. ZIBS is developing into a giant ship in search of the beacon light ahead. Whether it be the Metaverse or the more distant real universe, we will stay on the ship in pursuit of a promising future. For me, this giant ship is also a haven. We are classmates today, but tomorrow we will be alumni. Our teachers are our close friends, and the dean is the man you can trust. Regardless of when we graduate, the classic ZIBS Blue will be our lasting memory about Zhejiang University. As the first batch of graduates from the ZIBS iMF program, we witnessed the school's steady progress toward globalization, digitalization and ecologicalization, and ZIBS also witnessed our departure from campus to society. ZIBS is young, and we are also young. There is no limit to what we can expect to discover. Hopefully, we will perform outstandingly in this relay race without being defined.

The iMBA Admissions Ambassadors Appointment Ceremony
The iMBA Admissions Ambassadors appointment ceremony was also held at the event. It is hoped that those admissions ambassadors can gather together more like-minded students at ZIBS and write a more brilliant chapter in the history of the school.
The ambassadors indicated that as "special spokespersons" of Zhejiang University's iMBA program, they would work enthusiastically and actively in their new role and play a part for the growth of Zhejiang University's iMBA program.
Graduation Singing Party
At the event, the teachers and students held a graduation singing party to document youth with songs. May all ZIBS graduates make the confident transition from campus life to social life.
The path is rough and long, but persistence will deliver the desired results. At this moment, the graduates acquire a new identity—alumni of ZIBS and Zhejiang University. Today you take pride in the alma mater; tomorrow ZIBS and Zhejiang University will return the pride. You are stars scattered across the sky.
