  • What are the unique characteristics of the GCM program?

    The GCM program offers a blend of diverse academic lectures and culturally rich field trips, both onsite and online. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 8 to 1, individual involvement and academic progress in the classroom are ensured. To help students adapt to campus life in China, both local and international mentors are available. Additionally, the diverse international student community on the international campus enriches students' life and facilitates easy assimilation into Chinese culture.

  • Should applicants mail hard copies of their application materials?

    Applicants should not send hard copies of their application materials. These will not be reviewed or processed further.

  • Is an HSK certificate required for applicants?

    An HSK certificate is not required for the GCM program, as it is taught in English. However, applicants with basic Chinese language skills are encouraged to apply.

  • How can one apply for the GCM program?

    To apply, log in to the International Student Application & Admission System of Zhejiang University (http://isinfosys.zju.edu.cn/recruit/login.shtml), fill in the required information accurately, and upload the necessary materials.   • How are application documents processed and when will applicants be informed of the results?

    After paying the application fee, the GCM program team will process and evaluate the documents. Qualified applicants will be invited for an online interview via email. Typically, interview results are communicated within 2 weeks post-interview.

  • Does the program offer scholarships to applicants?

    ZIBS provides various scholarships to GCM students, awarded based on high school transcripts, interview performance, and potential contributions. For more information, visit the “How to Apply” page.

  • Are full transcripts of senior high school required for applicants?

    Applicants should submit their current transcripts when applying. However, complete transcripts must be provided before registration.
