What is the class size of iMF at ZIBS?
Each year, we aim to admit 80 students into the program. (Both domestic and international)
Can students complete the iMF program part-time?
No, the iMF program is a two-year full-time program.
What is the difference between the iMF program and the iMBA program?
The iMF program is designed to train early professionals who are looking for a finance-oriented career. The program emphasizes the role of fintech developments and equip students and early-career finance professionals with knowledge about latest trends in the finance industry. The iMBA covers more general management skill set and knowledge base with focuses not necessarily in finance.
What career services are provided to iMF students?
All iMF students will have access to our Career Development Center. Our professional Career Consultants will offer career services such as career coaching, career planning, CV and cover letter polishing, and interview skill trainings. We also offer a mentoring program to connect you to senior executives from leading financial institutions.
Curriculum and Program Timeline
Can I choose more electives than required?
Yes, you can.
Are places of internship in the second year guaranteed?
No, it is not guaranteed but we will provide opportunities and help you to polish your applications, etc.
When will be the program start date?
The program will start in September 2024.
Would the summer be occupied by teaching activities?
No, we would suggest student to start an internship during the summer break.
Are the assessments individual or team-based?
Both formats would be used in the assessments.
Do I need a quantitative background to succeed in the program?
You are not required to have a quantitative background but it will be helpful if you have knowledge on programming languages.
Career Developments
Are there networking events available during the program duration? Are these exclusive to iMF students or do they also cater to other ZIBS students?
Yes, there will be networking events to help you build the network for your future career. We have finance-focused career events arranged exclusively for iMF students. There are also other networking events for students across different programs.
